「名為恐懼的魔鬼，我不願意承認，所以我將他改名為勇敢！」

一場激勵人心，創造勇氣的新馬戲劇場，來自臺灣FOCA福爾摩沙馬戲團與英國馬戲導演Timothy Yuval Lenkiewicz，臺英合作共製《心中有魔鬼 / I Have My Demons Have Me》世界首演，將於臺南藝術節亮相。

《心中有魔鬼》創作題材來自於特技演員自身的恐懼及臺灣傳統民間故事的串聯，藉由馬戲、戲劇與舞蹈訴說故事，探討人內心深處的暗影，並運用多元的現代風格，編排精緻且驚險刺激場面，窺視觀者自身的怯懦，顛覆人們對於恐懼的想像。

"I Have My Demons Have Me" is a production made by Formosa Circus Arts (FOCA) and the British circus performance director, Timothy Yuval Lenkiewicz, who is not only an art director of Square Peg Contemporary Circus but also an experienced acrobatics actor, a choreographer, an art program producer, a hardware technical advisor and a theatrical music designer. The show will have the world premiere on 2017 Tainan Arts Festival.

The production is inspired by the actors’ own experiences as well as traditional folk tales, aiming to explore the shadows in everyone’s mind. To present a brand new impression of circus, FOCA includes group acrobatics, stunts, dances, and dramas in the performance. Through the performance, audience are encouraged to face the inner fear and overcome their cowardice.

【FOCA福爾摩沙馬戲團】前身為【MIX 舞動劇坊】，經歷4年的焠鍊，走訪過國內外大小舞台，於2014年以臺灣美麗的驕傲-『福爾摩沙』命名，深耕臺灣，向世界出發，用我們的身體，創造屬於臺灣的馬戲劇團，接軌國際，向世界傳遞臺灣之美。

【FOCA福爾摩沙馬戲團】走訪國際大小舞台，結交世界各地表演藝術同好，FOCA也從不忘精進自己，定期安排練習計劃並積極爭取演出機會，期望能發展出專屬於臺灣的馬戲風格，成為培訓臺灣專業馬戲演員的核心基地。

導演簡介

Tim Lenkiewicz現為英國Square Peg Contemporary Circus藝術總監，投身馬戲多年，累積豐富經驗，並同時擁有專業馬戲演員、編舞者、導演、製作人、硬體技術顧問、劇場音樂設計等多重身份。

Initially called "MIX Acrobatics", the company renamed Formosa Circus Arts (FOCA) in 2014, expressing its ambition to the world as well as committed itself to actively popularize circus culture in Taiwan. Aiming to develop the circus performance of Taiwanese style, FOCA keeps arranging expert trainings, expecting the group as the training foundation for professional acrobatics actors.
