自然與城市的舞蹈混種 從小小孩到大人 幻化動物一起開趴
風格獨具的印尼舞蹈家 傑柯.席翁波 × 在地深耕 影響.新劇場

傑柯.席翁波是印尼最著名的當代舞蹈家之一，受過印尼傳統舞蹈訓練及當代舞蹈形式訓練，

也曾在紐約學習嘻哈音樂，將街舞、嘻哈文化融入印尼巴布亞舞蹈。
 

「動物趴」是席翁波發展超過十年的社會藝術計畫，其舞蹈動作源於巴布亞東部島嶼查亞普 拉(Jayapura)、瓦梅納(Wamena)等原民文化傳統及模擬野生動物姿態，將這些舞蹈和 代表城市文化的舞蹈元素，包括嘻哈、現代舞等結合混種，發展出絕無僅有的身體語彙。曾 獲邀至日本、澳洲、荷蘭、德國等進行工作坊及表演，參與者總能在舞動中獲得樂趣的同時， 有機會思考自然與城市、動物與人類的相異與共存。
 

在地製作團隊「影響．新劇場」除演藝表現多次獲獎肯定，亦積極以劇場作為社會服務與行動的推進器，致力文化平權、兒童青少年劇場、樂齡藝術等。這次演出將由席翁波率專業舞者， 與影響．新劇場合作，同臺南地區兒童、青少年及青年舞者，特別邀請亦擅長現代舞、街舞等舞蹈混種的小事製作參與演出，邀民眾齊開一場城市中的動物派對！

A hybrid dance of nature and city

From children to adults, everyone transforms into animals and party together

Jecko Siompo × New Visions New Voices Theatre Company

Jecko Siompo is a renowned Indonesian dancer trained in the traditional Indonesian and contemporary dance. He learned hip-hop music in New York and integrates street dance and hip-hop culture into the Indonesian Papua dance.
 

City Zoo is a socially engaged art project that Siompo has been developing for more than ten years. Siompo blends elements that represent urban culture such as hip-hop and modern dance into the dance movements inspired by the Jayapura and Wamena aboriginal traditions in eastern Papua and the imitation of wild animals. As a result, he has developed a unique body language that has never seen before. Siompo has been invited to the workshops and to perform in many countries, including Japan, Australia, Netherlands and Germany. Workshop participants enjoy the movement of dance while reflecting upon the difference and co-existence between nature and city as well as between the humans and the animals.
 

For the Tainan edition of City Zoo, Siompo works with professional dancers and the children, teenagers and young dancers in Tainan with New Visions New Voices Theatre Company. New Visions New Voices Theatre Company is an award-winning troupe based in Tainan. Dedicated to social action and equal cultural rights, the company fosters youth theatre and art education for the elderly.City Zoo invites everyone to join an animal party in the city!
